Our British Integration Programme is ideal for students who want to improve their English by communicating with other English students with the same age. It is the perfect opportunity for learners who are considering going to a University abroad and would like to feel what it is like to learn in a different cultural environment.

The programme is open according to the English School Year calendar. Please contact us for a full list of possible start dates. Most students attending this programme stay in the Uk from 1 to 7 weeks. Students are required to have a B1 level of English.

Our British Integration Programme includes:

Transfer Service

from Heathrow and Gatwick airports

We pick up our students from the airport and take them straight to their homestay or residence.

Secondary School

Usually 8.30 - 15.00

Students attend lessons at one of our partner secondary schools where they will meet other English students.

Books and Photocopiables

All academic materials are included in the programme. However, students are expected to bring their own stationery.

Homestay

Students will stay in one of our premium homestays and truly experience life in the UK.

An exclusive line is available to all students - 24 hours as day, 7 days a week.

Travel Cards

for local transport

Students will receive a bus/train card on their first day in England so they can travel around town at no extra cost.

Full Board

Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Students are offered breakfast, lunch and dinner during their stays. Packed lunches will be provided for school trips.

International Diploma

Attendance and Achievement Certificate

Students will have a certificate of achievement and attendance on the last day of the course.

Leaving Ceremony

to remember an amazing experience

Students will take part in an official leaving ceremony where they will receive their international certificates.

Weekend in London

an overnight trip to the UK capital

Students can choose to spend a weekend in London for some incredible shopping and sightseeing.

Social Activities

Students can add a wide range of afternoon and evening activities to their Mini Stay Programme.

Excursions

Full-day and half-day trips

Students can take part join in different trips and visit popular places such as London and Oxford.

International Exams

Trinity College or Cambridge University

Students have the option to take an international exam: GESE by Trinity or Linguaskill by Cambridge University.

Travel Insurance

for some extra peace of mind

Students can opt to take out their travel insurance with the Language Training Company.

Our local activity leaders are available to help students with anything they need - they know all the best places in town.

About Bournemouth

Bournemouth is located on the southern coast of England and enjoys a mild climate. With seven miles of golden sands and sparkling sea, only a short walk from the school, this vibrant cosmopolitan town has it all. Bournemouth is famous for its entertainment venues, educational and sports facilities, and its restful atmosphere. Founded in 1800, the town has grown into a resort which is characterised by its wide, tree-lined avenues and pedestrian areas. Victorian architecture is complemented by beautiful gardens, modern stores, cafes, and eateries. Visitors are sure to enjoy loads of memorable experiences.

About our partner schools

We carefully select our partner secondary schools according to student feedback and performance. All our partner schools have achieved good or excellent Ofsted results and offer a friendly environment which fosters learning and promotes student integration.

Lessons

The use of uniform is compulsory in English Secondary Schools so students are responsible for their own kits and will not be able to attend school without them. Students have to adhere to the code of conduct of the school they will be attending and will be subject to disciplinary procedures in the same manner as an English student would. School information along with its procedures and students' expectations will be sent to international students upon school allocation.

Level of English

Students are expected to have a minimum B1 level in order to fully enjoy the programme.

Accommodation

All students will stay in one of our premium host families where they will have the opportunity to learn about British culture and customs.

Homestay Accommodation

Staying with a family is probably the best way to practise your English and learn more about the British way of life. Bournemouth is a city of many cultures and this is reflected in the homestays we use. Families are carefully selected for their friendliness, cleanliness and access to and from the school. Host family homes are regularly inspected and most of our families are located within 20-45 minutes away from school by public transport. The family will provide all the necessary assistance.
